Dear friends and family that have come to check out our blog……

I’m moving back to Facebook!  It has been a difficult journey learning to use this blog!  Thank you to everyone that tried to help me!

My biggest road block right now is the internet in Africa!  It takes SO LONG to download a picture. And for some reason, Facebook is much faster.  🤷🏼‍♀️

1st Week at the Missionary Training Center, Provo, Utah

 

	Had to get a picture with Cosmo the Cougar!	Our “Home Sweet Home” in the MTC!  It really was quite comfy! Sorry about the messy blog!  I’ll get better at it!  (I hope!)
We got to Provo early, so we walked around the Wilkinson Center!

 First pictures  with our missionary name badges!  We’ve waited 5 long years to get here!    It was so great to work with other Senior Missionary couples!   We loved all of our instructors also!

  116 Senior Missionary couples!  Serving all over the world!  SO excited to be a part of this group!  Can you find us?  ;)

Hard Goodbye’s ♥️

 

Saying goodbye is the hardest!  Oh, how I wish I remembered to take pictures of everyone!  🙄

To Texas for Mayli’s graduation was a great time!  Family dinner at Catherine’s house with the Hancock’s, Nikolaus’ and Veater’s!  Stayed the night with Linda and Jim and got a bonus visit with our nephew Nathaniel, his sweet wife, Kate and their adorable girls! 💕

We went to our hometown, Show Low, Arizona to honor this beautiful woman who was reunited with her sweetheart.  So happy for her, but our lives will never be the same without her constant affirmations of love. ♥️ Met up with the Hamblin family after their amazing trip to Idaho for hugs and goodbyes.  They are all so hard.  We are staying with the Parker family on the weekend of our MTC training.  They had a wonderful brunch for us!  Didn’t take one picture.  😢 Lots of our wonderful Wyoming family came and some other family and friends!  We love you all!

We also said a tearful goodbye to our beautiful Buffy.  She’s been a wonderful companion to us for 16 1/2 years and we will miss her dearly.  RIP sweet girl.  We love you. ♥️

May 15, 2022 - Farewell

Barry and I spoke in church on Sunday, May 15.  We had a small brunch afterwards at our house.  It was great to have all those that could come!  Catherine & family on the left, Lanny & family in the middle and Megan & boys (Ivan was home sick with what we later discovered was Covid) on the right.  Sure do love these sweet families.  We missed our Utah, Texas and Eagar families.

I was very thankful my sister, Linda, was here to support us also!  (Standing by me, in pink)

April 28, 2022 - Photo Shoot

Nikki and Megan did a mission photo shoot for us!  It was pretty fun!  Zane came along to hold extra items and make us smile!
